When you book an appointment you may choose to come in person to Oak Lodge to see me.

Alternatively if distance is a problem you could choose to work online instead.

Personal issues and problems may be dealt with in a variety of ways.

Hypnotherapy, life management counselling, and coaching sessions are all individually tailored to suit you and your needs.

Therapy is usually to relieve, treat or heal a disorder/resolve issues from the past/get rid of negative and uncomfortable feelings and unwanted emotional responses/change bad habits and behaviours.

Coaching will mainly focus on performance and learning new and better skills and abilities. Life coaching for life skills, career coaching for work skills, and sports coaching to improve sports performance and up your game.

Naturally therapy and coaching will often overlap and complement each other.

Whatever the focus the emphasis is always on making positive change and improving your life for the better.

What to expect

Whether you work in person or online during your first session you will be asked various questions about your problem or reasons for coming.

This is when most of your personal details will be noted so as full a picture as possible may be gained about you. Most importantly you will be asked what your goals are, and what you would like to get from our meetings. You will be given some feedback, and recommendations will be made regarding the expected timescale and how best to proceed. A mutually convenient time to meet will then be decided upon, usually at the same time for an hour or an hour and a half, once a week.

If you would like to meet me before committing yourself you can book an informal first meeting, and have a short hypnosis trial session, either online or in person. This meeting is absolutely free of charge. This is also the ideal time to discuss any doubt or concerns you might have about the process, and to ask any questions you might have.

It is always best to feel comfortable with the person you are working with, and I am always happy to answer any questions in an effort to make you feel more relaxed.
